Gilmaur Truck Kits

The kits are designed to use the Weaver drive parts- wheelsets and gearbox, transfer tower, drive shafts and motor  (these drive parts are not available from Gilmaur).          

The old-style Weaver drive components are available from P&D Hobbies. 

To power any Gilmaur kit, ask for #2300K, price $135 (in January 2007).

These drive parts can also be taken from any of the older Weaver locos- RS-3, FA-2, GP38-2.

 

Other suitable drives are the CLW or All-Nation drive systems. 

 

 

Blunt Truck

This is unique to Gilmaur-  the only Blunt truck kit available in O scale.

The kit contains lost wax and white metal castings, and is included in the Alco S-2 kit.

Kit price is $75 including S&H from the UK. 

 

 

AAR-A Truck

The kit contains lost wax and white metal castings and etched parts.

Kit price is $75 including S&H from the UK.

GSC Truck

This 6-wheel truck is used on the GE UxxC and the GE Dash8-xxC locos.

The kit contains lost wax and white metal castings.

Kit price is $65 including S&H from the UK.

Note that this truck is all brass- the kit has several white metal parts.
